I have an Autocad Inventor translator that converts Autocad .dwg to CNC job files. Sketchup can convert its CAD files to a .dwg file. So theoretically can I make a model on sketchup , convert to .dwg, and then convert the .dwg to a CNC job file?
I think so, can't see why not.
ugh, i really need to learn sketchup so i can design things before i build them. i'm tired of my low quality engineered stuff.
Yeah, I saw that, I still need to find the time to get through it all!
The time it takes to learn CAD is nothing compared to the time you'll save from it. Trust me on this! And your designs will be much more professional looking and reliable, as an added bonus.
