Title: Ti Calculator Control
Post by: profcpw on February 19, 2007, 07:42:49 PM
Has anyone taken the time to measure and observe the TI's serial port ?  Now I must admit I would love to have a turn key robotic control circuit other then the unit available from small robots.  I would like my class to be able to build their own robots controlled by the ever popular TI calculators.  It would seem once the signals are observed under the TI's program control, we should be able to program a pic controller (which we have and would be glad to program one for free).  Now we have done this very thing with the older palm devices, it was a piece of cake.  But, the TI should be more of a challenge.  Can someone post their findings of the TI's port as observed on their o'scope ?  Then if there is enough interest maybe we can come up to a group solution to making a robot controlled by the TI.  Let's get started.
