Title: external crystal fuse settings

I am using the ATmega2560 with a 16Mhz external xtal and want to set the correct fuse in AVR Studio.

I am assuming I must check the box that says 'Ext. Crystal Osc.:Frequency 8.0- MHz:Start-up time: 1K CK + 65ms' correct? I'd rather not guess, as it could kill my board . . .

(right now its using 8MHz internal resonator)

Also, what is the difference between 258 CK and 16K CK? Any good reasons to have a lower startup time?

Ok I set it to the Ext. Crystal Osc. with 16K CK and it works fine.
