Axon, Arduino, $50 Robot MCU

Are these three items basically the same thing aside from obvious added features, and if so, as a newbie to robotics which one should I look at using in the future?

Axon would be the best investment for the long run.

But if you are going to get an Arduino, you may want to consider the Roboduino, a variation of the Arduino I designed a while back.

Does the kit come with everything needed to complete it or would I have to order the items for the board somewhere else?

Kit comes with all the components for the board ( comes with everything you see in the picture)
