Also, is it possible to get etchant solution at a hardware store? I've heard the stuff from radio shack is really weak.

The best method for toner transfer is to use a laser printer... you can't use an inkjet.

PCB Etchant (like what you can buy at Radio Shack) is not easily found in most hardware stores, but an alternate approach is to make your own etchant using commonly found chemicals.  Any hardware or paint store will sell Muriatic Acid (just a few dollars for a gallon).  Any drugstore or supermarket will sell Hydrogen Peroxide.  Mix one part Muriatic Acid to two parts Hydrogen Peroxide and you have a very effective etchant!

Wow, thank u.  I found a cheap laser printer on craigslist......the toner will be the problem, I didn't know the toner costed $70.

Yep toner can be trouble... In some cases it's not worth buying it but buying a new printer!!!
