I've been saying it for years and nobody believes me. Robots are finally beginning to take over our planet. YAY! Here is step one. (More like step 3000, but this is a big one).
What are your thought's on this?

There have been robotics in scientific labs for years. The only thing special about that one is the AI programming, which is done initially by humans. I don't see robots taking over any time soon (if ever).

I'm not too worried about robots taking over the world, but these robots are pretty sweet. If Eve is successful in finding better drugs to combat Malaria, it won't be too long before a robot has cured aids and cancer.

Don't worry too much.
Most professors have armies of mostly free and very intelligent undergrads to do the brunt work of the boring lab work.
These machines don't stand a chance to replace them any time soon.
Its just another tool to speed up research, the world isn't going to end, yet
