Robot weight

hello
for my robot(my first one),i'll use 2 servos (torque=6kg.cm)
will the torque change when i modifie the servos for continuous rotation?
how can i calculate the max weight of my robot ??(even a complicated method is welcome)

you will surely want to know the shape of the robot
here it is (i'm not a good designer,and i will probably change it),it shows the two motorised wheels(there are 2 other wheels on the back side, but without motors)
for the material , i'll use PMMA

To calculate the weight of a robot that has not been built yet, make a list of every part you plan to use. Then look up the weights of each part and add them together.

You should be able to find the weight of sheet material like the PMMA, just divide the weight for a sheet by the area of the sheet to get a weight per unit area (gm/sq cm) then multiply this times the total sheet area you plane to use.

A few items you may need to guess at.

it's not exactly what i want t know
i want to calculate the MAX weight that my servos can tolerate
i 'm pretty sure that it'll need a complicated analysis,and i'm ready to do it if somebody could help me

Ah...Ok. Check the motor RMF calculator in the SoR tutorials.

By trying different values you should be able to get an idea of how much weight your servos can move. Hint: the ground angle (inclined ramp) and the acceleration are the biggest factors limiting the robots weight so don't get these too big.
