It is made by a company called Lynxmotion here in the US... http://www.lynxmotion.com/Category.aspx?CategoryID=109

Lynxmotion has a strong reputation for well engineered, high quality products.

best idea for a all terein robot, multiple wheels on each side, hinged to pivot

is the main reason a robot can't carry 200 lb's because of the srain on the motor shaft
or are there other factors

that is one factor, you would need larger bearings, larger chassis, thicker material MUCH larger battery.

I think i know what ure thinking of, u mean like one of those robots you see in the US army driving around in the desert or whatever :D ?

If im right then, it should be a standing robot but instead of the legs moving its attached tracks (like on tanks) making the robot move?

its got base tracks like a scalene triangle..and amouring in the shape of a triangle...so its like a smooth finish.
the when it stands the tracks rotate 90 degrees...
