Communicating with USB-to-UART from Computer
«

Good day ( or night , depending on you time zone
)
I wanted to verify that this board (
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=718
) is seen as a virtual serial port by a computer and that I would treat communication like I would a regular serial port.
In case anyone was curious of my application , I want to make a USB RF dongle for this RF Link (
http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=7816
)
Thanks,
Eric

yes, FT232RL is seen as a serial port (COM) and enumerates as such.
