Today, may 25, the Phoenix Mars lander will land and send its first images. Don't forget to watch it!http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/phoenix/main/By the time i post this post, it's about 16 hours until it lands.
The last 10 seconds were suspenseful . . . went from "1700 meters" to "80 meters" in like 5 seconds . . . got me worried a bit there . . .
Yay, a completely perfect landing! Landed with a quarter of an degree tilt. Thats really neat!I got pretty worried with the tight landing as well. But was it really only 10 seconds? Felt like forever Cant't wait for the first images![edit] Yay! Images!
neat photos,, maan that land is hell empty
they chose this position cuz water could be shallow there
you mean ice?
