Really cheap LCD displays at sparkfun...

The only problem is I, and apparently other people from reading the comments, have no freaking clue how to interface these things! Let alone find a connector for them. Maybe one of you can find something out... I'm heading to bed now.

Not to be an ass...
But I think all of the information is inside the manual ;)

Anyways, that's what I think when I was skimming through it, I've never used it, so I can be completely wrong. It shows pin-connecting diagrams and a lot of explanation, it looks like you need a LOT of I/O pins for that...

Even with that datasheet you're looking at an arduous journey to get that up though, typically it's nice if there is something to work with... spending the next couple weeks of my life developing drivers for an LCD isn't exactly something I want to do... I have beer to drink. =)

ahahahaha

You've got to devote something to it ;)

Imagine the honor you'll receive for figuring that thing out...
Oh, and you can drink beers while creating robots, if the... quantity is smaller then 1 liter ;)

Lets say it takes 10 hours to figure it out.

If you worked at McDonalds at a rate of $6/hour, thats $60.

The ultra easy to use serial LCD's cost around $15 and will take ~1 hour to figure out.

Because time is money, sometimes being cheap will cost you more than you save . . .

Your decision ;)
