IN WHAT WAYS DO AUTONOMOUS ROBOTS DIFFER FROM ORDINARY ROBOTS?CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN IN DETAIL?

Autonomous robots are all on their own, assuming you mean fully autonomous of coarse.

SO,CAN I SAY A REMOTE CONTROLLED CAR AS A SIMPLE ROBOT WHICH USES IR TRANSMITTER TO TRANSMIT IR SIGNALS AND A RECEIVER TO RECEIVE THOSE SIGNALS ,WHICH CONTROL CAR'S MOVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, A LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT AS A AUTONOMOUS ROBOT.

Do not use caps please.

As far as I know, as long as a machine can't think, take decisions and do something on its own it is not a robot.

So a RC car is not a robot but the one that avoids any obstacle in its path and moves around is.
