Mount stuff onto motor

I know this is probably a really easy question...but i'm stupid..hehe
what do I use to mount stuff onto a motor? Like a shaft or gear or something...
I searched the forums for this answer but couldn't find anything...thx

A motor usually has a shaft sticking out of it... you then mount different things depending on what you are trying to do:
If you want to mount a new shaft on top of the motor shaft, use a "coupler"
If you want to mount a wheel, use a "hub"
