« on: February 24, 2010, 08:23:14 PM »
I want to build a simple carting car that will can to arrive 35 km/h
My problem now is what motor I need to buy ?
How I calculate the motor data that I need ?
I search after good site in addition to the tuturial that is in this site or name of book that explain how to calculate the appropriate motor
I think a bout the motors that are in the electrical scooter maybe anybody here know the number of the motor and then I can search his data sheet
Also I want to know how to connect two wheels that I will can to control the direction of the drive

You don't even want to think of steering differential at 35 km/h, unless you're an expert in fine tuning the controller. Just a little over steering and it's tilting (or rolling) sideways.

Apart from that, there's a motor calculator on this site.

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
