Title: What type of connector do you use when you want to lock the wire in place?

I'm talking wire to board connections here.  Let's say that I need a 2 position connector that'll handle 2-4 amps at 12V and I want the wire to LOCK into the board, kinda like how a power supply 24 pin connector locks into a motherboard on a computer.  (I think it's a 24 pin...).

Anyway, I googled and WAY too many unrelated things came up and it didn't help me at all.  I tried searching digikey but I honestly don't know what to search for...

Any help?

EDIT:  I'm not looking for terminal blocks.  I want the wire to have an end (like the end of an RC battery pack), and I want to plug it into the board.  Hmmmm, I just got an idea...

You could just actually use an ATX connector (same type as on a motherboard) or any number of RC high-current connectors. Solder, of course, is probably a better option for true high currents, or a (suitably rated) screw terminal.

But but what if I wanted to have the wires be removable?   ;D

That's the whole point.

I'll look into the ATX connector. 

I tried going on a battery pack site and looking at the connectors then searching for them on mouser, but nothing came up....

That's the one thing that sucks about those sites... WAY to many options.

Hi,

Car terminals like spade terminals, bullet terminals or ring/fork terminals that you screw down.
Cheap as dirt and build for high current (i.e. low resistance).
