Hello everyone,
It might sound stupid but I am having hard time to understand the difference between servo, non-servo, stepper and digital servo motors. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hope someone answers because pretty soon I have an exam.
Thanks in advance.

When you say "non-servo" are you indicating a regular DC motor?
For servo motors, I recommend going here :http://www.societyofrobots.com/actuators_servos.shtml (http://www.societyofrobots.com/actuators_servos.shtml)
For stepper motors, this would be a good link : http://www.societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/node/120 (http://www.societyofrobots.com/member_tutorials/node/120)
Hope this clears some things up!

I am confused with Servo (AC or DC), Stepper and Digital servo.
How are they different?

Have you done searches on the internet yet? Also, the differences between those motors are shown in th tutorials I posted earlier.
I wish you luck!
