Post by: tristantech on April 06, 2009, 07:21:22 PM
Is there any module I can buy to connect my AVR to my house's WiFi network?

Look at Matchport rather than Wiport.

Wifly is a good option - power consumption is much lower than Matchport.

Quatech, connectBlue, ConnectOne and others also build Wifi modules with UART interface.  Note that all of these systems require 3.3V.
