MD - DC - NOVA R&A Team: Workshop 2: Computer Vision

Anyone who lives in the MD-DC-NOVA area, the Robotics and Automation (R&A) Team is having our second workshop. The topic is a hands-on tutorial on Computer Vision and if there is time a hands-on tutorial on PWM with the Arduino mcu, and an open-discussion on an upcoming competition (strategy and teams)

Who should come
    Anyone interested in a computer vision workshop tutorial should come and bring a laptop with a web cam. Also bring your Arduino MCU, a servo for a demo of PWM control.

Agenda:

1. Computer Vision Workshop (led by Shivang)
2. PWM Speed Control Tutorial (led by Bob)
3. Strategy and plans for the Speedway competition. (open discussion)
4. Open discussion

For the vision workshop the following is recommended but not required:
1. Laptop
2. Webcam and drivers installed
3. Following software installed before meeting:
OpenCV
RoboRealm
Visual C++ Express Edition
Matlab and Image Processing toolbox <- only if you already have it

For those looking to buy an inexpensive webcam the following webcam is recommended:

For the PWM and arduino lesson the following is recommended:
1.) Arduino
2.) Continuous Rotation Servo
3.) Load the software on a laptop
