Something us old-timers are aware of...
Go to your local auto parts store and get "belt dressing".
It was used on cars' fan belts in a time before toothed serpentine belts. It makes the rubber sticky for awhile.

sorry. i like to ask where should i apply the belt dressing? on the metal wheel??
furthermore, i check on the internet. they say belt dressing make the belt worse. is that true? i very confuse now.

Given that I said "It makes the rubber sticky for awhile.", you should apply it to the RUBBER.

oh. thank you. the stupid auntie at the auto parts shop tell me apply on the metal.. damn her.

sorry to bother u again.. i apply the belt dressing on the rubber. its like abit oily.. do i need to wait for it to dry??

I would just let it soak in for a few minutes, then run the wheels. After the oily film is gone, they should be stickier.
