should i connect both sides of the transistor to the 9v(+) help

(1/2) > >>

sohailsameja:

in the above image only one transistor's collector is connected to the 9v(+terminal) (PRESET JOINT)
shown also in the below picture

In another picture, shown below it is connected to both sides(I AM NOT SURE PLEASE CONFIRM

MY QUESTION IS:which is the correct way

P.S THIS IS THE SCHEMATIC BUT HAS ERRORS LIKE THE POTENTIOMETERS EDGESS(WIPERS)ARE NOT CONNECTED IN THE SOLDERING PROCESS BUT RE IN THE SCHEMATICS

jwatte:
That schematic does not seem to have errors, except the arrows on the potentiometers should point in towards the zigzags (symbol error.)
The transistor collectors are all connected to 9V. No other part of the transistors are directly connected to +9V. Is that what you're asking?

sohailsameja:
yeah,so if i connect one side(one transisitor) the rest wont get power.so i must connect both the sides right?

jwatte:
What do you mean by "side"?

The collectors of all the transistors need to be connected to the 9V supply.

sohailsameja:
that means that the 3rd picture is true.
