Title: Very Small Wireless Transmitter?

I need a wireless transmitter that is very small. Preferably 1/2 inch X 1/2 inch. And is there any way I could program it to be able to tell the receiver how far away it is and in what direction it is? If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!
