Which RC helicopter will carry and iphone(140 grams)
« on: October 27, 2011, 09:27:00 PM »
This is a senior project.

I plan on putting together a RC helicopter that can be controlled from any location in the world(virtually no range).

My question is which RC helicopter will easily carry 140 grams? I also would like to bare in mind stability for better camera shots. The helicopter does not need to do anything fancy but stay stable so a beginner type helicopter would suite.

I would appreciate any advice at all.

Brandon

I have been writing an App for  the iPhone  or iPod  Touch
capable of not only being the controller interface for  the user but
also able to run the control algorithm.  To my knowledge making it
the first robot to use an iPhone as its brain. Here is the first video iphone 4s cases iphone stylus pen best iphone stylus

I have never flown this helicopter nor ordered from this company, but this is probably something like you are looking for:

Coaxial helicopters are the easiest to fly. Then comes fixed pitch then collective pitch helicopters. The one in the link is coaxial and looks like it should be big enough to lift an iPhone.

Hi,

(virtually no range).
Easy, just turn the phone off ;D
Regards,
Søren

A rather fast and fairly heavy robot with quite large wheels needs what? A lot of power?
Please remember...
