Post by: raptorwes on March 30, 2011, 04:19:10 PM
This is my first attempt at a robot. It is a photovore and i am using a flashlight to demonstrate its ability to follow light.
construction:
3/8" plywood
2 x 3" wheels mounted to hitec hsr 1425cr servos ( differential drive)
1 caster in front
axon 2 micro-controller
2 Radio shack  photoresistors
a little bit of velcro
aluminum c channel from Lowes mounted to the bottom and the servos are press fit into the channel

Thanks. Now i am trying to work on some fuzzy logic, which is not working out the way i want it to....  and just ordered some sharp Ir rangefinders so hopefully i can have something that will avoid obstacles .
