Title: RoboMeister Status
Post by: vidam on February 01, 2008, 08:12:37 PM
Here is a status update for the contest deadline.

I just ordered a compass, an AVR programmer, and a digital web-cam that handles low-lighting situations and has auto-focus capability. I can't wait till everything arrives in the mail to get started working.

Also I found a cheap IMU at sparkfun but they were out of stock. :-(

How are you going to interface the webcam with your AVR?

I'm not interfacing the WebCam with the AVR. I'm interfacing it with my laptop and RoboRealm software. The digital compass, sonar will interface with the AVR and my laptop will get the values from the sensors and encoders from the AVR.
