wifi communication
« on: January 16, 2011, 07:48:37 AM »
Hi Guys,

I finished building a remotely controlled car using the rabbit 3710 microcontroller that is controlled while its connected to the PC using serial to usb converter.

now I want to control it through wifi??

As you now the RCM3710 doesn't have a wifi module so i bought a netgear router with wifi and connected the microcontroller to the router using ethernet.

I tried to run the code no errors but i cant issue commands to the car.

Please help me to solve this issue:
.how to configure the router DHCP...etc
.what is needed to written in Dynamic C to connect successfully.

Thanks guys,

Pc Networks need TCP\IP for web based communications but Networks require IPX\SPX\Netbios... you might want to look into the Netbios side??
