Wow, just wow. That first one is amazing! I guess it shows what you can do with good hardware! Actually the second one is amazing too... but anyway... what do you guys think?

I am gonna guess and say $5000 minimum for that first bot no to mention about a year of programming and R and D

I think it's Ishikawa Komuro Laboratory (http://www.k2.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/index-e.html).
Specifically their "Sensor Fusion" project.

I used to think that robots might be doomed to be stumbling clunk bots. Buy Ive come to realise they could surpass human agility at least while their batteries last Brute force computational power allied to smart algorithms can yield devastating results. I was like woah there when i saw this the first time. I blame it all on the Koreans myself.
