Title: robots learn to lie
Post by: Admin on January 19, 2008, 12:28:28 PM
First these robots learn to communicate (http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=645.0) (old post), then they learn to capture little girls for food (http://www.societyofrobots.com/robotforum/index.php?topic=1766.0) (old post), and now they learn to lie (http://discovermagazine.com/2008/jan/robots-evolve-and-learn-how-to-lie) to keep that food to themselves . . .

Having the ability to choose is the first step in intelligent behaviour

Being able to lie is the second (a large part of what seperates humans from other life forms)

Although, I would like to evaluate the "gene" codes that the bots have been programmed with before forming a true opinion
