So, I would like to design an RC insect with 6 legs. It needs to have a tripod gait which means 3 legs move at a time.
Here is the challenge, I want as few electronics as possible. Mechanical gears would be the best.

Well, go for it.
There is the internet, with information about robot gaits and mechanical parts. What do you want from people here? The Answer? That hardly seems the point of the venture to me.
