plz take care to read this without getting bored
i am a beginner and have made a robot only outta crap.
i am planning to make a robot which can go through all terrain,land,water,air.
i live in india and my suppliers are very low so i am just asking a query that i which board should i buy of these two-     http://thinklabs.in/shop/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=79 .or http://thinklabs.in/shop/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=78.your .the dollar 50 robo is somewhat useful but could you suggest me some parts?? oh i forgot to tell that i also wish to install the following-
1.a gas releaser
2.a microphone and camera
3.a device which allows it to connect with my laptop AND control it
4.all should be waterproof
5.it should be able to shoot a missile capable of penetrating thick surfaces and inject liquid
6.it should be able to disguise it self as common items like a coke can or soft drink bottle
7.should run on four wheels
8.should have retractable wheels
9.should have a propeller behind<for water of course>
10.should be buoyant so that it can float in water
11.it should have wings and should be able to fly
12last but not the least it should be lightweight so that it can perform its functions correctly

plz guide me so as how to make this robot

I want to build a time machine like the one from back to the future.  I dont have any money or knowledge of such things.  all i have is a pizza box, a toaster, and a used condom. plllllzzzz help!

this might sound simple and easy to make after watching a science fiction movie but this is really complex!

if you are serious about building something close to your description youll need to take it one step at a time
so for the the quote above ^^^ it would be in your best interest to hack an RC toy like this one http://www.hooked-on-rc-airplanes.com/rc-flying-boat.html

then you might use a Axon II for its new brains and upgrade prop motor for a bigger payload.

Once you have the Axon II you can then add a bluetooth module to use your laptop as a controller as well as add a mic and camera.

you might want to try what i recommended trying first before attempting the above   However, even if you get a robot that is land,water,air it still would be awesome!!!!

well we all get excited when we think of making a robot and plan big etc.....don't we?
but shyamgenious, all the things you mentioned cannot be done at once....take it one step at a time.
start by building a land robot (has less complications) ....once you start it, you'll find its not that easy, since there are constraints on money, time and knowledge.
but, don't give up...keep on learning new things and in the meanwhile keep working on your robot...
once done with that , you can move on to modify it to a marine or air robot too.
i don't want to demoralize you or anything, but please go one small step at a time, otherwise , you may lose interest in your new 'interest'..

You need to be a bit more selective the next time you dive a dumpster!
(And remember to wash the latter carefully before reusing, or at least turn it inside out  )

Since you seem to be building this out of arbitrarily selected materials, I'll tell you now that the only thing likely to lift your robot off the ground would be a number of model rocket motors, or possibly 2+ brushless ducted fans.
