Simple doubt on servo input signals
« on: July 29, 2007, 01:12:58 PM »
Hi..

I will start to use servos and control them if PIC, and I understood that with 1ms signal I rotate the servo to 0?, 1,5 ms signal to the center and 2ms to 180? but can i rotate to 45? or other angles, using per example, 1,7ms signals, and so on???

other doubt, not related to eletronic but with servo, is where can I find that U backets for servo, to make a robotic arm or leg... here in Brazil is impossible to find this... if someone has it, please share with me its mesuare, then I'll can make some pieces of it here in Brazil

Thanks in Advance

Hi Odelot

Yeah sure you can set it to other angles just like you said.

The brackets - there are detailed drawings of servos in their data sheets, maybe you could make up some dimensions for your brackets using that data?
