hi i am new to this forum, and i first saw your post. I like to recommend the latest invention of iPad-faced robot developed by Double Robotics. Double uses the video conferencing facilities of iPad. An advantage is that it can move around the rooms, look at different persons, and move iPad camera up and down for eye level contact.
