Title: Ft. Collins Robot Fire Fighting Competition
Post by: shimniok on March 25, 2008, 04:50:52 AM
Here's some vid I threw together of a recent firefighting comp the Front Range Robotics folks put together.

Congrats to George (of Robot fame) and Anthony who successfully put out the candles.

My poor bot Pokey was among the handful that didn't quite do so well. :)

I just put together this vid from the PSU robot firefighting competition a few weeks ago. I unfortunately couldn't get my ERP camera to work at the time, so I watched and didn't compete.

Apologies about the bad sound, I was dumb and kept covering up the mike with my finger . . .

Very cool!

Just found out that my club is doing a firefighting contest on July 12 -- can't wait for another chance.

Pokey has been a little down about losing last time  ;D   Altho appearing in the pages of July/Aug Robot Magazine helped cheer him up a little bit ;D
