Title: Complete beginner question
Post by: worldspawn on February 19, 2011, 09:44:36 AM
I've been interested in getting into robotics recently but knowing absolutely nothing about electronics has made that difficult. Can anyone recommend some books/resources to get started? Preferably starting from nothing and working up to building a basic circuit, robot, and programming for it? I'm looking for the basics of all 3.

There is some stuff on the main site here - I'm just a newbie myself, but I've found it helpful so maybe you will too.

This has a bunch of embedded links: http://www.societyofrobots.com/robot_tutorial.shtml (http://www.societyofrobots.com/robot_tutorial.shtml)

This is a step by step walk through from scratch building a simple robot: http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot.shtml (http://www.societyofrobots.com/step_by_step_robot.shtml)
