What's A Great Robot Kit
« on: August 31, 2008, 02:31:02 AM »
For a long time I've liked messing around with seemingly broken electronics.  Adding stronger power sources;  Making them do things they normally wouldn't.

I'm positive I at least want to get a robot kit (a good one) and try it out.  I figure I could change my robot around a bit once I put the kit together, but right now I can't really get enough money to make from from scratch.  Not only that, but I wouldn't know how.  So, my question is, what's a good kit for a good robot (and up to date robot) that's not horribly over priced?  (By this I mean $400, $500, $1,000.  Thanks.[/b][/color]

If you want a robot KIT I recommend going to www.parallax.com and looking for the BOE-BOT.
This is a great robot kit and will teach programming and you can get lots of cool add-ons like sonic-rangefinders and cameras
hope this helps
