What Materials?

What materials should i use for a robot hull that will be running into things and over rocks and sticks so it needs to be robust... i also need to find out about wheels and good power effectient motors if anyone could help with that aswell post any sugestions of helpful stuff up here for me

acrylic is also good but a bit more expensive

depends which metal you use. aluminium is light and takes a real beating. easily CNCd too

depends which metal you use. aluminium is light and takes a real beating. easily CNCd too

Plus you can make a nice sturdy and large ground plane which reduce noise =D
