Title: 180 Servo Rotation
Post by: rabi_tagore on March 15, 2007, 07:46:47 PM
Hi,
I know how to modify servos for 360 continuous rotation, but what about 180 degrees rotation? I am pretty sure it is possible because servocity.com was offering servos with 180 degree rotation for an extra $10. So, anyone know how to do this? Please reply!

Thanks to everyone that posts!

so you can buy servos that do 180 instead of 90. try looking in some radio controlled aircraft shops for them.
I think it would be more effort than it was worth converting a 90 to a 180 degree servo.

servocity.com has tons of incorrect specs on the servos. :(

when they say its 90 degrees, quite often its actually 180.

go to the hitec webpage (http://www.hitecrcd.com/homepage/product_fs.htm) to look up the correct specs
