Title: Bench power supply suggestion
Post by: jabberwocky on October 19, 2007, 01:56:56 PM
Greetings one and all,

Can anyone suggest a decent Bench power supply which can provide say, 0-18v DC with adjustable amps too?

My budget is so tight, its hard to see light through it...

Any suggestions good people?

Wow, ok, I hadn't thought of that one!

And it just so happens one of my pc's motherboards blew on me the other day so i have a spare PSU!

You guys truly rock.

Oh that reminds me, some PSU's wont work unless they are drawing a certain amount of power.

If that happens, just get some big power sink resistors or whatever (motors, lights, anything) that drains power and attach it in parallel with your stuff.
