Post by: Admin on January 05, 2007, 11:09:31 PM
The Navy has a database of robot technology and companies:
https://robot.spawar.navy.mil/

The army also has a good site here:

Yes - that is our 2007 Urban Challenge racer. We call this one "Chrome" - because of all the aluminum diamond plate. As far as the "Redneck bling" goes - we do build the Scorpion rock-crawlers, as well as Nascar race cars and ARCA trucks in the same shop - so I guess that fits!

So I wonder, how did you do at Darpa?
Care to share anything interesting?

I dont remember seeing that vehicle in the Darpa challenge... though I did catch it about an hour late so you either won REALLY fast or you "ran into difficulties" early (I dont want to say "lost" because simply building the thing that drives even a little bit on its own is one hell of an accomplishment)

Looks really good though
