Decibit DDK Development kit
« on: April 24, 2009, 08:46:05 AM »
I am new to the world of bits, bytes&sparks. I am developing a Rf receiver to control some doors. The Decibit receiver boards seem to have a lot of what i need. They do have a couple with relay outputs that look promising. They provided software & usb programming port.
i would like to configure 2 one shot outputs (10 second) The input would be from a wireless remote.
You get the idea...
They use a ATMega168 mp. I see several post on this part. Will the output from this chip drive 2 small relays or other outputs.
My load is 2 Clippard MME 15mm solenoid valves. they pull only about 2.3watts. I can get any voltage.

Thanks
Tom

ATmega168 can only output up to around 40mA of current.

Probably need a MOSFET or transistor to switch the larger current of the relay.
Check out the Roboduino, Arduino-compatible board!
