Yes, but with motors bought from new, you usually get what you pay for.
If you want quality stuff cheap, look for surplus or used equipment - don't you have a scrap yard or a recycling facility where you live?
A flea market might have a large fouled up R/C car, perhaps without the transmitter - that might be a potential source too.
Yet another option would be to use a non-gear motor and build the gearbox yourself.
