lawn mowing electric motor

I just completed my rc lawn mower and tried to test out its cutter.  I have a 1 to 2 gear ratio on the cutter and just smoked my motor try to cut.  I was wondering if any one might know about a electric motor that can spin at about 10,000 rpm with lots of torque at a good price?  Thanks

the terms 10,000 rpm and "lots of torque" just dont seem to go together. You usually have to choose between one or the other.

Most commercial robotic lawnmowers work somewhere between 3,000 and 5,500 rpm, so you could get a fast motor and gear it down.

Maybe consider getting a cheap flymo and taking the motor and gearhead? out would be cheaper

define 'lots of torque'

what about putting a gas engine on it?
