Axon biped Engine Question
« on: December 15, 2013, 11:22:27 PM »
Is the biped engine that was made by admin able to be used to control dc motors like the ones in this kit?

I know you need a motor controller but would you be able to use the engine with those or not?

Thanks guys

It was designed to be used only for servos.

The motor you linked to does not have an angle position feedback sensor (encoder, potentiometer, etc.), so there is no way the software would know what angle it's at.

Yeah I realize that. I would have to add one I was just wondering if it could be used with them if you have a way to check the angle. If it can't be modified for that use do you have any suggestions on a way to program a robot that uses motors like that and would have to have an angle reading system added to it.

Thanks
