Title: H-Bridge Schematic question

Can any one help me choose the exact parts to buy that I need to build the H-bridge described in the tutorial? I have linked too a few websites bellow which I know I can get access too(some businesses do not deliver too Australia where I live).  I am a complete electronics noob and have no idea what the differences between the different types of mosfet's or fuses are and whether or not they will work for the H-bridge I really need to get done. If some one tells me the exact products I need and why I need them I would be eternally indebted to them but any kind assistance would be very much appreciated.

After some searching I have found a pre-made H-bridge which looks good and people seem to speak highly of it but I don't really understand how it works and I do not really understand the data sheet. I don't see why it has 16 pin's too me it would seem you only really need a supply voltage ground two pins that can read in logical high and low and two pins too attach the motors too. Can some one explain to me what each of the pins do or send me a tutorial.

It has two H-bridges in it, so that means it has two sets of inputs and outputs. Moreover, it give the ability to enable/disable each particular H-Bridge, adding in another two pins. The rest are just connected to ground for heatsinking purposes.
