Title: which one is the most popular specch engine ?

I am newbie for this !

I ask Lord Google, He showed me http://www.voxforge.org  and http://www.intel.com/technology/computing/applications/avcsr.htm

I need open source engine, Is there any others engine ?

I personally used Microsoft Speech Engine on Chives , my  robot . I intend to switch to Linux pretty soon , and I think I'll be using that speech engine that CMU designed ( I think it was CMU )

I did a quick look on it one day, but couldn't figure out how to use it. I'm intending to use it one day, so I guess I'll have to read up about it on the site.

It looks pretty simple to use , and there is PLENTY of source code  - I just love that in a project.

Like you said , I haven't really devoted time to it yet , thats on my looonnng to-do list. :P
