As the subject says, neat holograms, ultrasonic thingies for creating a sense of touch :P

I "think" the wiimotes are just tracking the hands.  It looks like IR is being projected out from the wiimote stands.  The IR is then reflected off the users hands to get a reading from the wiimotes.  I've seen that done before

it seems wii remotes are becoming popular in the world of robotics and on this site.

It's because there is so much easy interfacing code for them and they are ridiculously cheap! I can buy a nunchuck for ~$8 and it looks good, anything I make for myself if going to look like crap probably and not work as well!
