Title: HS-50 servos
Post by: andy b on September 16, 2007, 07:50:54 AM
I was looking for some servo's for my new ant weight robot. I found the HS-50 servo by Hitec but today i read that it is easy to strip the gears and break them. Does anyone know if this true because if it is i think i will go with Supertec Pico. Ive attached pictures of both of those servos.

Dont exceed the rated torque on the datasheet and it shouldn't break. What do you plan to control with the servo?

I wouldnt trust that pico, I dont recognize the brand name . . .

I plan to use the two servos to power the wheels (its a 2wheeled robot) and a third to raise and lower the flipper.
