Title: Getting started in Electronics - Best book
Post by: pomprocker on January 05, 2009, 02:21:31 PM
This book I bought it amazing.....

http://www.amazon.com/Getting-Started-Electronics-Forrest-Mims/dp/0945053282

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3433933

It covers stuff you would learn in college, but is written in a way easy enough for someone in middle school to understand.

I think if you want a really good introduction with excellent breadboard labs try:
http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Circuits-Evil-Genius-Cutcher/dp/0071448810/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1232071229&sr=8-1

Electronic Circuits for the Evil Genius

It's really a great beginner introduction that works you through some basic circuits and get's you to think about how they really work.
