Great sites to buy from.
« on: July 08, 2008, 11:26:12 PM »
I've been researching and shooting around the internet looking for places to buy really neat electronic gadgets for the robot I want to build, and I came across these sites.

http://www.logicsupply.com/  really small MoBos and other neat computer parts
http://www.firgelliauto.com/  linear actuators
http://www.micromo.com/     micro sized actuators and motors
http://www.firgelli.com/products.php  more micro actuators
http://www.pmccorp.com/products/products.php  PCI interface PLC
http://www.pmdcorp.com/  more PLC and other motor control devices
http://www.maxmax.com/aXRayOrderIRCamera.asp  they had some lipstick cameras
http://www.dcacpowerinverters.com/  DC to AC power inverters. (I needed one)
http://www.tecni-cable.co.uk/  Small diameter cable. (great for making fingers and hands move)
http://zahninc.com/  DC step up transformer (I needed lots of power)
http://www.mcmaster.com/  industrial supply (has almost everything you need)
http://www.automationdirect.com/  PLC and several other products. great for advanced robotics.

I thought I had a DC generator saved, but apparently not. Anyways, I hope that helps.
Cheers.

I've been ordering through drillspot.com a lot lately. They ship some things through Grainger, and in my case I have a Grainger facility near me so I get shipments the next day at USPS first class/UPS ground prices.
