Title: how to use old tv into making a robot????

 ??? im clueless on how to make robot so can someone help me. i found this old tv that is battery powered. what inside the tv could i use to make this robot.

You can get a plethora of components from a TV(Transistors, various passive components, various ICs), just a word of caution though, if it is a CRT TV, then you want to be very careful when opening it up as there are high voltage components that may still have a charge. Also, the CRT tube itself is possibly dangerous, you should handle the disassembly procedure with gloves.

Now, if its an LCD, then rip 'er open, there arent much of any dangerous components.  ;D

You might be lucky if this TV has a built-in VCR, as you can salvage some motors to boot.
