A question about the $50 robot electronics
« on: July 23, 2009, 08:15:54 PM »
Right now I am done making the board for the $50 robot. It looks good and I'm ready to test it when I get more of my packages, but when I tested it with my multimeter, things don't seem to be in good standings. Everything was fine until I put in the 5v linear regulator. Everything that touches the regulator or is connected to it are all connected to each other aswell. All the grounds are connected to the current and everything. All my solders seem to be fine and all my connections seem to be the way they are supposed to be. I was just wondering if most everything was supposed to be connected due to the 5v regulator.
Thank you for your time and knowledge :)

yes, most things on the board are connected to the regulator. some are just passing through (unregulated bus) and the others are using it.
